Today I share both sad and good news. Our security officer, Delano Bryan, will be leaving us after this week. While we will miss him, we wish him well with the new opportunity that he is pursuing. The good news is that he will be spending part of his last day here training his replacement. We were very fortunate to find a Guardian certified security officer to replace him. Starting on Monday, our new security officer will be Rodolfo Diaz. He comes with many years of experience including working in Catholic schools. Please welcome him to our family when you see him.  

Before Christmas, PTCO reached out to parents to see if anyone was interested in leading our fundraisers so that we can create an APEX-style event led by parent volunteers. We did not receive any responses. It may not have been good timing with the holidays, therefore, I am reaching out one more time before we make a final decision about next year. If we are going to use APEX again, we need to lock in our dates now. Before making that commitment, if there is anyone one or any group of parents who would like to take on the Fall Fundraiser next year and create a similar event that they will run themselves, please let me or Mandy Mills know in the next two weeks. If we do not hear from anyone, we will move forward with our decision to use APEX, another organization, or do something smaller in-house. I am looking forward to hearing from parents with ideas and commitments knowing we would be able to retain more of the funds raised for the school.  

Finally, we are looking for current families to commit to being Buddy Families for new families next year. Buddy Families are paired with a new family to offer friendly support, answer questions, and help them navigate the upcoming school year. It’s a wonderful way to share your experience, build connections, and help new families feel at home from day one. I will be sending out a Google form for families to sign up. Our goal is to match you with a family as they register so you have the opportunity to meet over the summer. Please watch for the form and consider being a mentor Buddy Family.

The FACTS Grant and Aid application setup for the 2026-2027 school year is complete. Applications and documents received after May 1, 2026 are considered late for initial consideration. 

All Diocesan High Schools utilize the FACTS Grant & Aid Application in the determination of in-house tuition assistance and the Catholic School Tuition Aid Grant (CSTAG). Additionally, all elementary/middle school families are required to submit their financial documents via the FACTS Grant & Aid Application, unless your school is a "community eligible" school.

Note: Pricing for the 2026-2027 FACTS Grant & Aid Application Fee will remain the same at $38.00.

Diocesan aid is limited. Applications received after the initial consideration deadline of May 1, 2026 for the 2026-2027 school year will be subject to a reduced rate, provided that funds are still available. Appeals are to be made directly to the school.
